Hexavalent Zinc Plating is the traditional method of Zinc plating (most commonly known as Zinc plating) and can be used for decorative and functional finishes. This type of Zinc plating provides corrosion and wear resistance, as well as aesthetic appeal.

Hexavalent Zinc Plating is still the cornerstone of the surface finishing industry because of its relatively low cost and availability as a commodity. At this time, few surface finishers in the India have the capability to produce trivalent Zinc finishes; MacDermid Enthone, an industry leader in finish design, lists only ten companies in the India qualified to produce their trivalent Zinc Fashion Finishes.

As with any other process, Hexavalent Zinc Plating are always keen to test the expected results. As such we have independently tested the quality of our Zinc Plating which incorporates Trivalent Chromium, and have seen it perform up to 1500 hours under ASTM salt Spray Tests.
